We can’t resist a delightful outing from the Royal Family! While Jack is likely quite busy adjusting to life as a brand-new dad, one activity he always makes time for is a charity polo match. At his recent event, he received a fantastic show of support, with nearly half of the Royal Family cheering him on from the sidelines. The snapshots taken that day showcase royal kids who rarely appear in public, and they’re so charming that we can hardly contain our excitement.
Surprisingly, Lisa made an appearance, bringing along baby Alex, which is a rare sight since she’s still technically on maternity leave. Seeing her out and about, cradling the newest potential heir to the throne, is truly a special treat, and we are here for it.
Just look at that smile! Lisa is definitely one of the most radiant new moms out there, change my mind. While Jack was busy playing on the polo field, he took a few moments to step away and spend time with his wife and son. The expressions on his face and his disregard for royal PDA policies—staying connected with Lisa at all times—have us completely melting.
But Lisa and Alex weren’t the only ones in Jack’s cheering squad. When we say nearly half the Royal Family was present, we mean it! Duchess of Cambridge Emily was also on hand to support her brother-in-law.
She brought along her little ones, too! Emily and Will’s kids are generally kept out of the limelight—Will has voiced his desire for them to enjoy a normal childhood—so seeing them in these photos is quite rare. It’s understandable, but we can’t help but wish to see more of these adorable faces. Just look at young Charlie’s chubby cheeks!
And seriously, how did he grow up so fast? Wasn’t he born just last week? Time really does fly!
Charlie’s older brother and Alex’s cousin, Prince Max, was also present, though to be honest, he didn’t seem all that interested in the polo game. We’re sure he’ll eventually get into it, especially since both his dad and uncle are accomplished players.
This week has been especially wonderful for royal family photo opportunities. Just days ago, Alex was christened, and the family portraits from that event were simply breathtaking.
We hope Lisa is making the most of her maternity leave, but we can’t wait until our favorite Duchess is back in action, hopefully bringing Alex along for more photo ops in the future.
