Starbucks is set to launch their festive holiday cups and drinks tomorrow! With Halloween just behind us, it’s officially time for the Thanksmas season to burst onto the scene, reminiscent of a cheerful holiday Kool-Aid Man. The early arrival of seasonal cheer brings with it the much-anticipated release of Starbucks’ new holiday offerings.
As a mom, there aren’t many things that bring joy, but the annual debut of Starbucks’ delightful festive items is certainly one of the highlights. This year’s collection is particularly charming, so get ready for a festive atmosphere.
The New Cup Designs
Now, let’s dive into the cups, which often spark debate over their holiday themes. After all, some people can be quite critical. This year, however, it seems they’ve struck the right balance with designs that truly exude merriment.
The new cup designs are named, from left to right: Stargyle, Espresso Houndstooth, Stripes, and Flora (my personal favorite). Aren’t they cute? These designs carry a deeper meaning, reflecting Starbucks’ rich history with seasonal festivities. Krista Simmons from the Starbucks Creative Studio shared that they drew inspiration from the past, incorporating elements like “a star, a branch of coffee cherries, and a flame.”
“By looking at our heritage, we discovered something beautiful in our story, where exceptional coffee and flavors merge to create a magical season,” Simmons explained.
Returning Seasonal Beverages
In addition to the new cup designs, Starbucks lovers can also look forward to the return of their favorite seasonal beverages. Beginning tomorrow, stores across the United States and Canada will be adorned for the holidays, marking the comeback of popular flavors such as:
- Peppermint Mocha (celebrating its 16th year!)
- Toasted White Chocolate Mocha
- Caramel Brulée Latte
- Chestnut Praline Latte
- Gingerbread Latte
- Eggnog Latte
All beverages will be available hot, iced, or blended as Frappuccinos.
Simmons understands the allure of Starbucks during the holiday season. “When you step into a Starbucks, the festive ambiance is undeniable,” she remarked. “Our customers have expressed that the return of our holiday cups and beverages signals the start of the season. We hope they experience the unique holiday magic that only Starbucks can provide during this special time.”
Seasonal Snacks
Alongside the beverages, there’s a delightful array of seasonal snacks to enjoy. New treats include:
- Chocolate Swirl Brioche, a rich brioche with a dark chocolate filling
- Pistachio Honey Croissant
- Sugarplum Cheese Danish, crafted from buttery croissant dough with creamy cheese filling and plum spread
