Can We Please Just Get Donald Trump to Sit on His Small Hands?

There’s something fundamentally off about Donald Trump, folks. Each day, he manages to demonstrate how ill-equipped he is for the role of President. His lack of experience and skill is evident to everyone watching. Honestly, it’s about time someone advised him to just keep his hands to himself. My 3-year-old has more self-control than he does.

Trump’s Twitter feed has become notorious for its barrage of inappropriate comments. Just this past weekend, he unleashed another round of childish tweets. One particularly reckless post called North Korean leader Kim Jong Un “Rocket Man,” right after Kim conducted a successful hydrogen bomb test.

YES, LET’S PROVOKE A PSYCHOPATH WHO MIGHT SPARK A NUCLEAR CONFLICT. (That’s sarcasm, by the way.) Isn’t the president supposed to prioritize the safety of Americans rather than engage in petty Twitter squabbles that could escalate into something catastrophic?

Then there was the retweet of a manipulated video showing him hitting Hillary Clinton with a golf ball. BECAUSE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IS JUST A JOKE. (Again, sarcasm.) If that video featured Melania being hit, would it still be considered funny? I think not. Just months ago, people were outraged over Kathy Griffin’s controversial photo that depicted violence against Trump.

In a twist that restored some of my faith in humanity, this particular tweet received over 30,000 responses, many of which condemned the violent undertone aimed at Clinton, who has Secret Service protection as a former first lady.

Trump’s presidency is increasingly characterized by blatant dishonesty, cruelty, and incompetence. His Twitter account has become a breeding ground for propaganda and incitement. Earlier, he posted a video of himself body slamming a man with a CNN logo superimposed, and just last month, he shared an image of a train running over a cartoon figure with a CNN logo. A White House official later claimed that tweet was posted by mistake, but it was deleted.

It’s ironic how many people demand Hillary to “go away,” yet I don’t hear similar calls for Trump to practice restraint—HE’S THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

At best, Trump seems unstable, which is downright frightening considering he controls our nuclear arsenal. I wouldn’t trust him to care for my cat, let alone make critical decisions for our country. His narcissism and dishonesty are liabilities, and his inability to acknowledge mistakes or empathize with others casts a dark cloud over his administration. Those who still see him as a legitimate president are, frankly, deluded.

It’s only a matter of time before his words or actions spark an international crisis. He’s not just embarrassing; he’s becoming a genuine threat. We need to get a responsible adult in charge of Donald Trump ASAP. If they can’t manage to keep him from tweeting, they should at least change his password.
