Hello, wonderful community! I’ve got a little secret to share: I had my doubts about our Thanksgiving Initiative this year.
For the past few weeks, my mind has been racing with worry that we wouldn’t be able to raise enough funds for our ambitious project. With so many worthy causes competing for attention, and given the tough times many are facing, I feared we’d fall short.
Even though donations were pouring in, the requests for assistance kept multiplying, leaving us scrambling. I even began drafting apology notes, bracing myself for the reality that not everyone who sought our help would be able to receive it. I just didn’t think we’d manage to pull it off… but guess what? We did!
In under a month, we raised an astounding $114,516! That means 2,152 families can now breathe easy knowing their Thanksgiving dinner is taken care of.
A huge, heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who contributed or spread the word. Your trust in this community and belief in our mission made all the difference. You truly made an impact!
