As a mother of three little ones under five, I can attest that managing a household requires a fair amount of stamina and creativity. Between wardrobe changes, tantrums, meals, and that never-ending task of trimming tiny fingernails and toenails, I’ve come to appreciate the tools that make my life easier. Reflecting on my own experiences, I can’t help but feel grateful for the advancements that make parenting a bit less hectic compared to what my mom and grandmother faced. With that in mind, I’ve compiled a list of five modern inventions that I simply can’t live without:
1. Baby Wipes
You’ve probably heard the humorous tales about using baby wipes for everything from cleaning the car to wiping down the kitchen counters. Well, it’s all true! With kids (and, let’s be honest, sometimes husbands) around, there’s always a mess waiting to happen. Initially, I was skeptical about the idea of my kids sucking pureed fruit from a bag, but it turns out they love it, and I love not having to scrub yogurt off the walls.
