“Who ventures into the night to save the day? Who are these heroes to light the way?” You’re welcome for that catchy tune. If you can’t help but sing along with “PJ Masks, we’re the PJ Masks…” then your children are just like mine—they’re completely enamored with Catboy, Owlette, and Gekko.
I have three little ones: two boys and a girl. Each of them has adopted their own character. At times, they might even turn on me at bedtime, shouting phrases like, “Never, Luna Girl!” Occasionally, their dad is dubbed “Romeo.” The youngest, who is just a toddler, has taken on the role of Gekko, usually trailing behind his older siblings as they embark on their imaginative escapades.
While I often find little joy in children’s television, I wholeheartedly support their PJ Masks enthusiasm. It’s a rare occasion when all three of my kids—aged 7, 4, and 1—can unite over a common interest that inspires creative play beyond the screen. But here it is, in all its glory.
If your kids are anything like mine, they might enjoy some of these fantastic items as well:
- Character Playset
- Catboy Plush Toy
- Owlette Plush Toy
- Gekko Plush Toy
- Some potty training inspiration
- And, of course, pajamas featuring the entire gang (disregard that misleading “boys” label; these are for everyone).
“’Cuz bedtime is the perfect time to fight crime!” Oops, sorry about that!
