Check out these charming centerpieces from this whimsical DIY Disney wedding! One couple with a passion for all things Disney decided to transform their wedding into a magical celebration using a bit of creativity and a hot glue gun. Meet Jamie Thompson and Alex Rivera, who conjured up delightful Disney-themed centerpieces and decorations that have captured the hearts of many online.

Even the bride’s gown was sprinkled with Disney magic, as it hailed from the Alfred Angelo’s Disney Fairytale Weddings collection, inspired by the beloved Cinderella. But Jamie didn’t stop there! “In planning their wedding, Jamie got really inventive with the decor, finding unique ways to honor some of their favorite Disney classics,” shared wedding photographer, Lisa Greene.

“The ceremony featured a charming woodland setup with butterflies that represented many classic animated films like Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and even Alice in Wonderland,” Greene recounted, adding that her own love for Disney made her the ideal photographer for this special day.

Like true Disney aficionados, the couple found it tough to choose just one story to celebrate. Their brilliant solution turned out to be a feast for the eyes! “At the reception, each table had a different theme,” Greene explained. “The Cinderella table showcased a pumpkin carriage, while the Little Mermaid table displayed a snarfblatt and a dinglehopper. The Tangled table was adorned with an array of twinkling lanterns.”

Jamie even crafted a dazzling rose with fairy lights to complement the Mrs. Potts, Chip, and glowing Lumière figurines on the Beauty and the Beast table, Greene shared.

The head table featured a miniature version of Sleeping Beauty Castle to commemorate the special spot where Alex proposed. He popped the question “at Disneyland in a quiet little nook next to Sleeping Beauty Castle,” their photographer revealed.

After such a romantic proposal, how could this couple resist a Disney-themed wedding? While they infused Disney magic throughout, Jamie shared her favorite moment was her bouquet. “The night before the wedding, my best friend and I stayed up late crafting bouquets for the bridesmaids. It was 2 a.m. by the time we got to mine,” she explained. “I was too tired to think, so Alex sent me to bed. He stayed up later and put together my bouquet for me.” Aww, right?

Thank goodness these two are pros with a glue gun! “It took time to gather and create all the various items needed to theme each table differently,” Greene reported.

But every bit of effort was totally worth it, making the wedding even more special. “Guests loved it and spent part of their evening exploring each table,” Greene noted. “It was definitely a fantastic way to encourage mingling!”

Thanks to some family support, Jamie and Alex also had a one-of-a-kind cake made just for them. “It was crafted by Jamie’s sister-in-law and topped with mini replicas of Carl and Ellie’s chairs from the movie Up,” Greene shared.

So, what did the newlyweds do after their enchanting day? They honeymooned at Walt Disney World, of course! “This wedding proves that Disney is a state of mind and that fairy tales can come to life anywhere,” Greene told readers.
