Meet little Oliver, a 19-month-old with a budding talent for photography that has taken the internet by storm! Just like his dad, who is a photographer in the military, Oliver has started to capture the world from his pint-sized perspective, and everyone’s loving it.
His dad, Jason, shared how it all began. “Oliver was trying to take pictures with my phone, so I handed him my old Canon,” he explained. “He figured it out quickly, and honestly, it’s not even the best camera anymore!” After a family trip to the Dominican Republic sparked Oliver’s interest, his dad decided it was time to equip him with a proper camera (even if it was a bit outdated).
From the most artistic photo of his dog’s business to snapshots of his parents and their garden, Oliver has been documenting his daily adventures. “That’s how he sees the world right now,” Jason shared. “He looks up at us, down at his own feet, and all around him.”
Oliver’s shooting style is pretty casual—he roams around the house and yard exclaiming “cheese!” as he snaps away. It seems he’s even picking up some skills; at one point, he cleverly switched the camera to sepia mode, maybe feeling like a true artist! Jason also captured some candid moments of Oliver in action on his phone—adorably focused and completely immersed in his new hobby.
After their little photographer wrapped up his shoot, Jason and his partner were excited to review Oliver’s first collection. “We thought they were pretty groovy! It’s fascinating to see things from his angle,” Jason noted. “Who knows, he might grow up to be just like me.”
