Recently, I stumbled upon a video that has been circulating among friends, showcasing a young girl witnessing the remarkable event of childbirth—her very own birth. I was warned to keep some tissues nearby and was told it was one of the most touching moments I would ever witness.

Perhaps I’m just a bit jaded, but I didn’t feel a single tear escape. It’s not that I don’t appreciate the beauty of childbirth; in fact, aside from the less glamorous moments (you know what I mean), I do find it extraordinary (in theory). However, if I had the chance to observe my own birth, whether as a child or even now, I doubt it would resemble that heartwarming clip.
