- His wardrobe often features a combination of a tie and a Newsies hat paired with one of his numerous comic book character T-shirts. (His entire collection consists of comic book character T-shirts.)
- Despite his small stature, he proudly declares that he’s the only one in his class who is tiny enough to be a hobbit.
- “If they ever decide to make an Aquaman movie, it better be done correctly,” he stated with conviction.
- He named the neighborhood stray cat “Whiskers,” inspired by Hermione’s cat, Crookshanks, from Harry Potter.
- The one time he showed any sign of sadness while watching television was when his favorite contestant on The Quest, a reality show influenced by The Lord of the Rings, was eliminated. He teared up and said, “I’m not crying!” in a defensive tone when I looked at him.
