Please consider the following principles:
- I will approach the journey of motherhood with a sense of humor, understanding that without it, I may find myself overwhelmed or even institutionalized.

- I will extend compassion to caregivers of crying infants on flights, recognizing that while I can leave my child behind upon landing, they cannot.
- I will never inquire whether a woman is expecting. It is a personal matter.
- I will not question the parent who wears the same comfortable attire day after day. There are valid reasons behind their choices.
- I will acknowledge that I do not possess complete knowledge about any child other than my own, who continues to be a mystery to me.
- I will support new parents by holding their infants, allowing them the much-needed time to shower and rest—something every new parent craves.
- I will strive to avoid passing my own body image issues onto my daughter. She deserves a role model who embraces her body with love and respect, regardless of imperfections.
- I will not impose my views on breastfeeding, circumcision, homeschooling, organic foods, co-sleeping, or sleep training upon any parent who has not sought my advice. These matters are personal and should remain that way.
- I will keep an open mind and avoid making definitive statements about parenting, as I may end up with a boisterous, water gun-wielding toddler of my own.
- I will remember that no parent is flawless, and my children will flourish because of, or sometimes despite, my efforts.
