As a mother of three children, all under the age of four, maintaining the daily rhythm of our household requires significant time and energy. Beyond managing tantrums, dressing and bathing, preparing meals, and keeping track of numerous tiny nails that need trimming, I’ve come to appreciate various tools that help streamline my responsibilities. Reflecting on my experiences, I realized that my situation is much easier than that of my own mother or my grandmother, who lacked the benefits of modern conveniences like epidurals during childbirth or disposable diapers. Hence, I cherish my Swiffer Wet Jet and thought critically about the essential inventions that have revolutionized motherhood. Here are five items that I find indispensable:

They are a lifeline, offering everything from weather updates to coupon apps. When you find a moment of solitude in your vehicle, enjoying a snack while scrolling through social media, it becomes clear how much smartphones enhance our daily lives.
