Halloween came early for a Burger King in Rego Park, Queens, as they decided to have a little fun at the expense of their rival, McDonald’s. The restaurant cleverly donned a ghostly costume, complete with the unmistakable name “McDonald’s” emblazoned across it. Now that’s some creative marketing!
The entire establishment was transformed, featuring playful ghostly eyes peering through, but still showcasing the iconic Burger King logo. To amp up the prank, their marquee cheekily read, “BOOOOO. Just kidding. We still flame grill our burgers. HAPPY HALLOWEEN.” You can just imagine the frustration at McDonald’s for not thinking of this brilliant idea first!
But the Halloween spirit didn’t stop there. Burger King also decorated their burger containers with what appeared to be hand-drawn McDonald’s logos. It’s a bold move, and honestly, well done, Burger King!
