Healthy futures begin with healthy beginnings. Every mother deserves respectful and responsive maternal healthcare to ensure a safe start for herself and her baby. Unfortunately, many mothers encounter obstacles in accessing this care, often influenced by their location, financial means, or ethnicity. This is simply not acceptable. That’s why I initiated #BumpDay in collaboration with the What to Expect Project.
Motherhood is a powerful sisterhood, and our friends, especially those from diverse communities, need our unwavering support. This year, on July 24, join us in advocating for impactful, affordable solutions that guarantee healthier pregnancies and safer deliveries for more mothers. We will be sharing personal stories from families affected by the ongoing maternal health crisis, and we encourage you to share your own experiences using the hashtag #BumpDay. You’re also welcome to post a bump photo—yours or someone dear to you—with the heartfelt message: every mom deserves a safe pregnancy.
