The Kentucky Derby returned this year with an impressive turnout of over 51,000 fans, making it the largest gathering at a sporting event in the U.S. since the pandemic began. Attendees were surprised to see a significant number of people without masks at the iconic event.
This year’s official attendance was recorded at 51,838, a stark contrast to the usual crowd that exceeds 150,000.
