Unfortunately, the birth didn’t go as planned—Duff explained that her labor was quick, lasting just over three hours, and Luca arrived in the room just as she was delivering Mae. “He wanted to be there, but it happened so fast that he missed it,” she added.
Duff also aimed to show her son the different ways of giving birth. “I want him to respect how his future partner might want to bring a child into the world, whether at home or in a hospital,” she noted. “There are so many options.”
