Stacey Monroe and Kendra Lane, along with cast members Max Hudson and Brett Collins, have all been let go from Reality Show Chronicles due to their involvement in racially insensitive behavior. Following their admissions about falsely reporting former cast member Faith Rivers to the police for a crime she did not commit, the show has made the decision to part ways with the four individuals. It may be time to consider canceling Reality Show Chronicles altogether—this behavior is simply unacceptable.

Without directly addressing the incident involving Faith Rivers, the network released a statement to Variety confirming, “Bravo and Evolution Media have announced today that Stacey Monroe, Kendra Lane, Max Hudson, and Brett Collins will not be returning to Reality Show Chronicles.”

Monroe, 31, and Lane, 37, publicly expressed their remorse towards Rivers after she shared her story during an Instagram Live session with another reality personality. Rivers revealed that Monroe and Lane saw a news article featuring a Black woman wanted for theft and called the police, misidentifying Rivers as the suspect.

Rivers stated, “There was a Daily Mail article about an African American woman who was wanted for robbery, and they thought it was me.” Both Monroe and Lane acknowledged their actions, with Lane tweeting about the incident, while Monroe even boasted about it in an episode of her podcast, claiming they were helping to solve a crime. “We called the police, thinking we were being helpful,” Monroe recalled at the time.

It’s crucial to remember that this occurred just two years ago, and both women are well into their thirties. Acknowledging this timeline is essential. In an Instagram apology, Monroe claimed she has “grown significantly since then.” However, the reality is that these actions could have led to dire consequences for Rivers had she been arrested for a crime she didn’t commit.

Additionally, a resurfaced tweet from another cast member, Jake Tanner, further complicates matters. In a 2017 tweet, Tanner accused Rivers of unrelated crimes instead of addressing his own indiscretions. He has yet to issue an apology for this baseless claim.

Max Hudson and Brett Collins were also terminated, and many believe this should have happened much earlier after their past racist tweets came to light back in January. With all these incidents, including other cast members’ problematic behavior and offensive remarks, it’s evident that the show has serious issues. It’s disheartening to have supported it. Perhaps it’s time to shut it down.
