While this procedure can be beneficial, it isn’t suitable for everyone. Additionally, women must meet certain medical criteria, such as having sufficient amniotic fluid and not being overweight or diabetic, to be considered candidates. “My husband and I shared our pregnancy journey not to suggest that our choice was right or wrong, but to illustrate that it was a conscious decision,” Emily remarked. “And the best part — it worked!”
In most cases of breech presentation, a C-section is advised for the baby’s safety. However, the Johnsons were determined to explore every possible option before accepting that outcome.
“I believe women should have faith in their bodies and the process,” she said. “It’s easy to rely on medical professionals’ opinions, but sometimes there can be hidden motives.” Ultimately, Emily encourages all women to follow their instincts. “The more we educate ourselves and trust our intuition, the better equipped we are to make informed decisions for our unique situations.”
