Last night, we had the pleasure of welcoming Jack Ryder and Scott Emerson to the show. Honestly, I wasn’t too thrilled at first. Jack has never really been my cup of tea, and Scott? I had no clue who he was until I found out he’s Clint’s son. Whoop-de-doo.
But you know who was loving it? Andy Cohen. He kicked things off by telling Scott he had to unfollow him on Instagram because it was getting a bit too steamy. Talk about awkward! Then, they rolled a montage of Scott’s shirtless selfies, and let me tell you, every woman in the country now knows who this guy is and is totally on board with his hot bod.
Next, they played a game called “Would It Give You Wood, Eastwood?” where we learned Scott isn’t a fan of breast implants, has a thing for older women, and his dating cutoff age is 45. Guess that leaves me with about three months of eligibility!
Then, Andy pulled out some props for a live reenactment of that iconic nightclub scene from Pretty in Pink. Jack stepped back into his role as Duckie, Scott took on Blaine, and Andy donned a floppy red wig to play Andie. The wig was a far cry from Molly Ringwald, but his eye roll game was definitely on point.
Now, here’s where it gets juicy. After their Tony-worthy performance, a caller named Will from South Dakota asked Jack if it was awkward when Aaron joined that sitcom because they both dated Daisy. Jack chuckled and mentioned it was a little strange, confirming they had a chat about it but never went into details. Case closed! Or so we thought.
Scott leaned in and dropped a bombshell: “If it makes you feel any better,” he said, “he did hook up with one of my ex-girlfriends.” Boom! Things just got real!
But hold on, because apparently, Aaron’s playboy antics were the reason for his breakup with Daisy! You heard that right. Can you see why I’m so jealous of Andy’s job? And we’re not quite done yet. A caller named Dorothy, not from Kansas but from California, asked Jack about his favorite episode of that sitcom. Obviously, it had to be the one with the threesome where he got to lick Courtney Thorne-Smith. Um, ew.
This led Andy to ask Scott if he’s ever had a threesome. “I have,” he responded nonchalantly while sipping his drink. Young Emerson, however, has yet to experience the thrill of licking Courtney Thorne-Smith. But at least Andy sent him home with a pair of Mazel boxer shorts!
