Parenting is undeniably quirky. - I’ve been so exhausted that I’ve searched high and low for my phone, only to realize I was talking on it the whole time.
- I once mistakenly tucked in one of my daughter’s stuffed animals, which led to a hundred more bedtime tasks.

- I’ve been so astonished by one of my child’s bowel movements that I’ve called my partner in to see it—more than once!

- We’ve tried to foster independence in our kids, and now they think they can handle everything on their own—spoiler alert: they can’t!
