Thanks to your generosity, 401 families who might have faced an empty table for Thanksgiving will now gather around a warm meal next week. It’s heartwarming to think of how many lives have been touched by the extraordinary kindness of folks like you… yes, you!
“Words can’t express my gratitude. When I look into my well-stocked fridge, I will think of you and all the wonderful donors who made this possible,” one grateful recipient shared.
“My family’s holiday season has been transformed, and I can’t thank you enough for what your community is doing for us,” another heartfelt message read.
“I was down to my last loaf of bread and desperately needed help, but more importantly, I needed to believe in the goodness of people. You and your amazing supporters have restored that faith– truly the greatest gift!” exclaimed yet another thankful family.
A whopping 698 of you opened your hearts and wallets to help those in need. Your kindness spanned the globe, with donations coming in from as far away as Haiti, Italy, France, and Australia. Children are exchanging hand-drawn pictures, food stamps and coupons are flowing in, and even a turkey is on its way to families in need. Gift cards to grocery stores across the nation are actively being distributed.
In just five days, we raised over $20,000! Donations varied from a single dollar to several hundred, ensuring that every family seeking support will have enough to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast. It’s simply incredible. The entire experience has exceeded every expectation I had.
