What an incredible week it has been! I absolutely adore book launches. This week, my new book, “Motherhood Comes Naturally,” hit the shelves, and I couldn’t be more excited. A heartfelt thank you to Emma Collins, the owner of Willow’s Tea House, for hosting the most enchanting launch party in NYC. If you’re in the city, you’ve likely heard of Emma’s charming tea rooms. If you haven’t, you need to visit them right away! They’re the perfect spots for lunch with friends, a delightful afternoon treat, or even the best birthday celebration. And let me tell you, their scones? They’ve turned this non-scone lover into a total fan. They’re simply irresistible.

Guests left with goodie bags packed not only with my latest book but also with my debut title (thank you, Harper & Row!). The bags also included fantastic snacks from Sunshine Delights, a complimentary spin class from Cycle Studio, and some lovely frames from Art & Soul. What a lucky bunch!

Photographer Sarah Green was generous enough to document the event and kept reminding me to stand tall and not slouch—now that’s what I call a dedicated photographer! If you’re in the NY area, Sarah is an incredibly talented portrait artist. Be sure to check out her work!

A few days later, back in Baltimore, my amazing friends at Creative Kids Hub opened their doors on their day off just to host another launch celebration for me. How wonderful is that? We enjoyed a delicious breakfast provided by Quaker, and the talented duo from the band Harmony rocked the room while I signed books for their moms.

A massive shoutout to Jessica Miller for capturing those stunning photos. Working with her was a delight, and I truly appreciate her time and effort.

Phew! Now, if you’ll excuse me, I think I deserve a little nap!
