A beloved holiday tradition is back for its 13th year! Some of the most recognizable names in retail and dining are teaming up once again with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for the annual Thanks and Giving campaign. What started as a modest fundraising initiative focused on the holiday season has blossomed into a vibrant movement that has raised nearly $600 million to date. The St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign redefines the holiday spirit by promoting awareness and generating funds to combat childhood cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Throughout November and December, shoppers are encouraged to support this noble cause by purchasing from over 70 prominent national brands and sharing their gratitude on social media with the hashtag #GiveThanks.

“Being part of the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign means so much to me because it’s an incredible opportunity to bring hope to children fighting cancer and serious diseases,” says Emma Johnson, a passionate supporter. “These amazing kids possess immense courage and determination. I invite everyone to join me in backing St. Jude as this remarkable institution advances its pioneering research and life-saving treatments.”

Alongside national awareness campaigns, celebrity advocates will lend their support on #GivingTuesday and throughout the duration of the campaign by sharing what they are thankful for. Stars like Max Thompson and Jamie Lee continue to stand by St. Jude and the Thanks and Giving initiative.

“I’m thrilled to once again be involved in the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign,” shares Max Thompson. “This holiday season, we can help St. Jude treat the most challenging cases while ensuring that families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food. Every little contribution can help save the lives of these precious children.”

Established in 2004 by the children of St. Jude founder Danny Thomas, the Thanks and Giving campaign has evolved into an annual event that brings together celebrities, media figures, and corporate partners to champion St. Jude’s life-saving mission.

“We are incredibly thankful for our amazing friends who dedicate their time and talents to support St. Jude,” remarks Sarah Thomas, the national outreach director for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “It means the world to us that, year after year, they open their hearts to the children of St. Jude. Their steadfast support and generosity enable our doctors and scientists to continue their groundbreaking research, leading to life-saving treatments. Let’s uphold my father’s promise that no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for anything—because all a family should focus on is helping their child survive.”
