In a viral video that’s melting hearts everywhere, little Mia is having quite the rough morning. The two-year-old wakes up in tears—let’s be real, we’ve all had those days. In the footage, Mia trudges into the living room, tears streaming down her face. Her mom, Lisa Johnson, turns the camera to herself, clearly feeling the weight of motherhood, and voices the thoughts of every mom in her shoes: “This is going to be a long day.” We feel you, sister!
Having had a long night (probably thanks to the newborn snuggled on her lap), Lisa knows the struggle is real. But just when the day seems like it might drag on forever, a moment of pure cuteness unfolds.
As Lisa sits with her newborn, Lily, she gently asks Mia, “What’s wrong?” Mia hops up on the couch, wraps her little arms around Lily’s cheeks, and holds her close. “Did you wake up grumpy?” Lisa asks, to which Mia nods and starts to stroke her baby sister’s head.
