Check out these charming centerpieces from a DIY Disney wedding!

A couple who adores Disney decided to transform their wedding into the happiest place on Earth using creativity and a bit of glue. Jamie and Alex Martin crafted whimsical Disney-themed centerpieces and decorations that have captured the hearts of many online.

Even the bride’s dress was inspired by Disney magic, as it was from the exclusive Alfred Angelo’s Disney Fairytale Weddings collection, reminiscent of Cinderella. But Jamie didn’t stop there. “In planning their wedding, Jamie got really inventive with the decor, finding unique ways to celebrate their favorite Disney films,” shared wedding photographer Sarah Johnson.

“The ceremony featured a simple woodland setting with butterflies, representing beloved classics like Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and even Alice in Wonderland.” With her love for Disney, Sarah was the perfect photographer to capture the magic of the day.

Like many Disney fans, the couple found it challenging to choose just one story to highlight. Their solution was delightful. “At the reception, each table showcased a different theme,” Sarah explained. “The Cinderella table featured a pumpkin carriage, while the Little Mermaid table had a snarfblatt and a dinglehopper, and the Tangled table was adorned with a variety of lanterns.”

“Jamie even created a glowing rose to accompany their Mrs. Potts, Chip, and illuminated Lumiere figurines on the Beauty and the Beast table,” the photographer added.

“The head table boasted a miniature version of Sleeping Beauty Castle to commemorate where Alex proposed,” Sarah shared. Jamie’s prince charming popped the question at Disneyland in a cozy spot next to Sleeping Beauty Castle.

After such a romantic engagement, it was only fitting for the couple to have a Disney-themed wedding. Jamie’s favorite part was her bouquet. “The night before the wedding, my best friend and I stayed up late making the bridesmaids’ bouquets. At 2 a.m., we finally got to mine,” she recounted. “Exhausted, my husband sent me to bed and finished my bouquet himself.” How sweet!

Thank goodness the couple is skilled with a hot glue gun! “Collecting and crafting all the elements for each themed table took time,” Sarah noted. But the effort was worth it, as it made the celebration all the more special. “Guests loved it, wandering from table to table. It was a fantastic way to encourage mingling!”

Thanks to the help of family, they also had a unique cake made just for them. “Ashley’s sister-in-law created a cake topped with miniature replicas of Carl and Ellie’s chairs from the movie Up,” Sarah shared.

After showcasing their miniature Disney scenes, where did the newlyweds go for their honeymoon? Of course, they chose Walt Disney World! “This wedding proves that Disney is a state of mind, and fairy tales can happen anywhere,” Sarah concluded.
