Meet 19-month-old Leo, a budding photographer who has taken the internet by storm with his adorable snapshots! Just like his dad, Michael, who is a professional photographer for the military, Leo has discovered the joy of capturing the world through a lens.
Michael shared that Leo’s interest in photography began during a family trip to the beach. “He was fascinated by my camera and wanted to take his own pictures,” Michael explained. After returning home, Leo was gifted an older model camera that Michael described as “not the most cutting-edge, but perfect for a toddler.”
With his new gear, Leo embarked on a photographic adventure, snapping images of his favorite subjects—his parents, their dog, the backyard, and of course, his own tiny feet. “This is how he views the world right now. He looks up at us, down at his feet, and all around at his environment,” Michael said. “I hope everyone enjoys these photos as a glimpse into a child’s perspective.”
While wandering around the house and garden, Leo would exclaim “cheese!” with every click. Remarkably, he even managed to switch his camera settings to ‘vintage’ at one point, showcasing his early understanding of photography. “He prefers looking through the viewfinder instead of using the screen,” Michael noted, clearly impressed with Leo’s focus.
After Leo wrapped up his photo session, his parents took a look at his creations. “We thought they were quite cool! I was really intrigued by the different angles he captured,” Michael shared. “Who knows, maybe he’ll follow in my footsteps and become a photographer someday.”
