As a parent, I’ve come to terms with the fact that modesty has become a thing of the past. After all, it’s hard to maintain any sense of decorum after experiencing the chaos of childbirth. But writing a book? That’s taken my shamelessness to a whole new level.
My Recent Adventures
Let me tell you about my recent adventures. Over the past few weeks, I’ve turned into a bookstore regular—visiting at least one each day, much to the bewilderment of unsuspecting shoppers. I’ve taken to rearranging display tables and slipping Sharpies into my bag to sign copies of my book. Yes, you heard that right. I’m literally pushing my book into the hands of strangers, making it impossible for them to ignore me.
It seems I’ve lost my grip on reality, but hey, it’s all in the name of promotion, right? So, seriously, do me a favor—just buy the book. I might just show up at your local store otherwise.
