In what can only be described as a cry for help, it appears that the individual responsible for creating new Oreo flavors has delivered a message we can’t overlook: Swedish Fish Oreos. A food blog, The Impulsive Buy, managed to snag a pack and reported that the filling is “sticky, chewy,” and even “slimy.” Yum?
A representative explained to Business Insider, “We know that consumers enjoy variety when snacking, so we craft our limited-edition flavors to offer surprising new twists on familiar favorites, and sometimes, we explore unique flavor combinations that may seem unexpected.” But who’s making these decisions, and why do they seem to have a vendetta against taste buds?
Food.com has compiled a list of Oreo flavors that might just prove my theory: someone at Nabisco is in desperate need of help, an intervention, or possibly both.
