In a heartwarming twist on pregnancy announcements, a wife pulled off an incredible surprise for her husband during what he believed was a standard couples’ photoshoot. Jamie noted that her husband, Alex, thought they had “won” a photoshoot session, but little did he know that Jamie had a special surprise in store.
The couple’s plan involved each writing three words that described one another on a chalkboard, which they would then hold up for the camera. A cute concept, right? However, behind the scenes, Jamie had something much more exciting planned.
“The photographer and I plotted everything out to keep Alex in the dark,” Jamie shared on her blog. “Once we arrived at the park, the photographer, Lisa, had already prepared my board. She just needed Alex to write three lovely things about me.”

“When we turned around, that’s when the magic happened!” Jamie exclaimed. Lisa, who had also photographed their wedding, was thrilled to be part of this special moment. “Watching the surprise unfold was so emotional; I almost teared up, but it’s hard to take pictures while crying!” she laughed.
The touching announcement has since been shared widely, garnering over 50,000 views, and even local businesses have taken notice, sending gifts to the couple. “It’s going to be tough to top this when we do the gender reveal!” Jamie mused.
