As we prepare for the arrival of our second child, I find myself reflecting on the emotions and adjustments that will come with this change, particularly regarding our firstborn, Max. Welcoming a new baby into our household will undoubtedly alter the dynamic, and Max, who will soon be sharing his space, toys, and the love of his parents, may experience the most significant shift. Although he won’t be tasked with changing diapers or midnight feedings (at least not all the time), the adjustment might still be challenging for him.
