Remember that rather unsettling display of “patriotism” at a Trump rally earlier this year? A group of young girls donned in red, white, and blue dresses performed a song about the Republican candidate’s vision for America. Unfortunately, it seems that Donald Trump has added them to a long list of individuals he has wronged by not honoring their contract.
According to reports, the USA Freedom Kids dance group is taking legal action against Trump for breach of contract. The group became a viral sensation after their performance of “Freedom’s Call” at a rally in Pensacola, Florida. However, their manager, Liam Cross, expressed disappointment over the Trump campaign’s failure to provide a table for the girls to sell CDs and the subsequent cancellation of a performance in Florida, despite the girls traveling all the way from Iowa. “This is how they treated us,” he stated, adding that they could only be ignored for so long.
After initially threatening legal action in July, Cross engaged attorney Sarah Thompson and filed the lawsuit earlier this month. The Trump campaign has 20 days to respond to the suit, though there has been no update on whether they have done so as of yet.
The lawsuit seeks damages ranging from $5,000 to $15,000, which both Cross and Thompson believe is a reasonable amount. “People might view this as opportunistic, but that’s not the case,” Cross clarified. They aim to resolve the matter without going to trial, though Thompson remains “confident” in their case against the former president.
Sadly, the revelation that Trump is refusing to compensate these young performers likely won’t deter his devoted supporters from voting for him this fall. Even the knowledge of his controversial remarks regarding race and gender has failed to sway their opinions. It seems he is primarily focused on his own interests, a fact that many choose to overlook.
As for the catchy jingle that initially brought them fame? The girls are reportedly so disillusioned by their experience with Trump that they have chosen not to perform it again. “It’s just a very unfortunate situation, that’s all,” Cross lamented.
While we hope that Cross and his group receive the compensation they deserve, it is disheartening to see that among all the individuals Trump has taken advantage of, a trio of young girls now finds themselves on that list.

In summary, the USA Freedom Kids are suing Donald Trump for breach of contract after he failed to meet their agreed-upon terms, which included allowing them to sell CDs and perform at a rally. Their experience has left them disillusioned, and it highlights a troubling pattern of behavior.
